nurturing cozy ♥ an october series

A lovely October morning to you, dearest readers!

Oh, how delighted I am that October is finally here...this truly is one of my favorite months of the entire year. Autumn is here now and pumpkins and mums are gracing porches all over town. Cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves fill the air as breads, muffins and scones are being pulled from the oven. Hot tea is being drunk by the mugful and leaves are just beginning to turn gorgeous shades of cheery gold, rusty red and sunny orange. Evenings are longer and the draw towards the comforts of home and hearth are strong.

One of the best things about October, for me at least, is my annual October series here at my Inglenook. This is a tradition I've had in my blogging corner since 2014 and I am always tickled to continue on with the fun. Choosing a theme is something I spend my summertime pondering on. I usually end up with four or five topics that are on my heart and soul to share...and then begins the choosing game.

Last year, I invited you along as I shared all sorts of cozy things...and to be honest, I still had lots on my heart to share with you. So, alas, I have brought COZY back for this year as well, with a focus on nurturing cozy in every nook and cranny of beautiful, ordinary life. Oh, how pleased I am to share this October series with you all. If you enjoyed last year's, then I just know you'll love this year's posts too!

Coziness is something that we can experience 365 days a year, during all four seasons. It isn't *just* an autumn or winter thing. But, because it is autumn, after all, and I love making these October series a grand celebration of a gorgeous time of year, I've decided to share posts mainly in relation to the autumn and winter coziness. When spring returns, I'd love to share about coziness during that season, but for now...it's all about autumn! {{smiles}}

Dear reader friend, I invite you to come along this October and join me for a grand celebration of autumn and of nurturing coziness...you can't imagine how elated I am to share these posts with you. Unlike years past, I have decided to only publish posts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, instead of seven days a week. The rest of the week will be for writing the next posts, reading novels, rambling in nature, cooking soup and baking bread, drinking herbal tea, and savouring this favorite season of mine. And I hope you'll be doing lots of those enjoying sorts of things too!

Pour a cup of something warm and delicious, maybe grab something to nibble on,
find your comfiest spot to cuddle up and settle in...
the candles are lit and there's instrumental music in the background,
we're passing the kettle around and there's room for you, too.

Here's to a beautiful October...
full of magic and coziness in abundance!
