cozy summertime peach crumble

Coziness and summertime aren't two things that intertwine together too often. One of those times, though, is with this delicious dessert. I can't think of many other really cozy summery desserts, but this peach crumble is completely perfect. It's summery with peaches, and then you get the cozy flavor and scent of cinnamon. How perfect is that!

This is my family's favorite crumble recipe. You can use canned or fresh peaches, whichever you prefer or have on hand. You can also do apples in the autumn for a truly seasonal dessert when it's chilly outside. But for summer, peaches it is! I love pairing this with freshly whipped that's been just slightly sweetened with a drizzle of honey. A perfect combination! And a crumbly topping always has my vote. I just can't get enough crumble!

This is our go-to dessert for summertime. We make it for Memorial Day and sometimes just because. I hope you get the chance to bake this recipe for your dearest ones and enjoy some summertime coziness.

Cozy Summertime Peach Crumble

In a deep baking dish, pour 60 ounces of peaches that have been well-drained. Sprinkle the peaches liberally with cinnamon.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the following:

1 1/2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup flour of choice
1/2 cup coconut sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Pour in 1/2 cup of melted (or softened) butter and stir together to make the crumble.
Sprinkle all over the top of the peaches.

Bake in a 350*F oven for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm with fresh, homemade whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy!
