What I love about the snow…
❄️I love how quiet the world is when it snows. I’ve read that snow absorbs sound which makes the earth quiet when it’s snowy. I really love the peaceful quiet!
❄️I love how snow feels soft under my feet.
❄️I love how snow adds a gentle look and feel to the earth. The bare, brittle branches in winter often look harsh and sharp to me. Snow softens everything.
❄️I love how snow makes the air smell fresh and crisp and clean and crystal clear. It’s almost as if snow purifies the earth.
❄️I love how snow brings out the child in people. Building snowmen, making snow angels, having snowball fights, just enjoying the snow…you’re never too old to have fun.
❄️I love how beautiful snow is. Winter truly is a favorite season of mine and snow makes it even more dear in my heart.
❄️I love the layers that snowy days make me wear. Hand knit scarves, mittens, warm hats, thick socks. Yes, please.
❄️I love how snow inspires me to cook comforting, warming foods. I do this all winter long anyway, but there’s something special about making an extra comforting meal on a snowy evening.
❄️I love how snow makes my home feel extra cozy and like the true haven it is.
❄️I love how snow makes everything feel magical! Snow is the stuff of fairy tales and confirms my belief that magic exists in this world.
