a springtime hello

Don't dismiss the elements. Water soothes and heals. Air refreshes and revives. Earth grounds and holds. Fire is a burning reminder of our own will and creative power. Breathe them in. Swallow their spells. There's a certain sweet comfort in knowing you belong to them.

Good morning, lovely readers! Long time no see!

My, what a time it has been! It's been over a month since my last post and in that time, spring arrived. Oh, how magical it has been to witness the earth waking up from her winter slumber and filling the atmosphere with color and scent and texture as blossoms and leaves and critters make their seasonal debut.

In my absence from this corner of mine, I spent time pondering this wee space and things I want to share here. I discovered a couple of new-to-me shows that have been ever so much fun to watch...and occasionally binge on late nights. I have completed reading several stories that were just about as good as they can possibly get...and just in the last few days, have begun tales that have the promise and hope of being just as delightful and enchanting. I have taken my trusty sidekick...my camera...on a few rambles around our garden to try and capture even a tiny taste of the beauty of this season. I have cooked many new recipes and best of all, found many new favorites for my family and I to enjoy.

I am glad to be back in this space, but I so enjoyed the little time away. Not only was it a break from blogging, but nearly a complete break from the internet, aside from watching some shows and movies on streaming services. And that was so needed! I didn't know just how much.

Please come back soon, as I really hope to have a post up *soon* sharing some of my favorites from the last few months. I've got some splendid shows and books to share with you and I think many of you may love them just as much as me.

Until next time...
may your day be a beauty and may you find little nuggets of magic in the midst of your ordinary moments.

Happy May, lovely friends!
